Oh Bruins, how we have missed thee. After being teased with two games a week ago, we're finally getting back on track with a normal schedule. Don't get us wrong, we're glad that the Bs got a chance to have get used to the time switch, but a full week? Have to say, not such a big fan of this "starting in Europe" thing. It's hard watching almost every other team play, and the delay even made us considered sending out milk cartons.
Hopefully the Bruins won't have too much rust and they're be able to carry over some of that chemistry and momentum from the last game. Unfortunately the Devils already have 5 games under their belt.
Fortunately they'll be tired and have kinda sucked
After the jump: More of the same with some game day links
The Devils are 1-3-1 so far in the season. The only win they got Brodeur managed a shutout, which doesn't bode well for the still unproven offense of the Bruins. Luckly, it seems highly possible that Johan Hedberg could get the start tonight. But hey, either way with Horton on pace for 123 goals, we should have nothing to worry about right?? While we're on the topic, Seguin is on pace for 41 goals! Take that Mibury!
Boston and New Jersey have been pretty evenly matched in recent history. Since 2008, the Bruins have gone 4-3-1. Six of those games, the loser has been within just one point of tying. Offensive teams, these are not.
Line's should be mostly similar to what we saw in Prauge, thankfully no new injuries to report. Paille will once again be a healthy scratch and Timmy T will be getting the start in goal tonight after shutting out the Coyotes.
