Today the Boston Bruins have their yearly game against the Colorado Avalanche! We have trouble making jokes about the Avalanche. Some of the Days of Y'Orr staff enjoys catching the occasional Avs game on Center Ice.
Unfortunately today's game is starting to get overshadowed by Peter Forsberg skating with the Avs.
Look, we agree he was great back in the day. But his time has past man. He's kind of like the Brett Favre of hockey except he's not a giant douche and doesn't send pics of his dong to chicks. Well, at least that we know of.
But how many attempted comebacks has he had now? Who knows. Maybe he'll come back again, be super awesome and put us in our place. Until then, we just don't see what all the fuss is about.
After the jump...
The Bruins hold an all time record of 74-53-15-1 against the Avalanche/No Diques.
Peter Forsberg is skating with the Avs to see if he's healthy enough to return to action??!?!?!!? Yeah. Expect announcers to talk more about this than the actual game.
"Horton with a good chance in front but he misses wide. By the way, did you know Forsberg skated with the Avs this morning!??!"
"Thomas with a nice save but who cares because Peter Forsberg skated with the Avs today!"
Matt Hunwick might not play. He has been a healthy scratch recently. Remember the the Days Of Y'Orr crew was happy he was gone and some of you called us idiots. Just saying. Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust saying.
Get prepared to be constantly reminded that Bourque had to leave town to get a Cup. But hey, I guess we'll take any excuse to see some Ray Bourque highlights. Ray Bourque was awesome.
