Game Day Preview: Bruins Got To Come Back Down To Earth

The Bruins aren't the only ones who need to come back down to earth either...the fans do too. Yes we're all still pumped after the Montreal win, but there are two tough back to back games this weekend. Rangers are still at risk of not making the playoffs and could be a potential match up for the Bruins first round. Philly in first place in the east and has been for the better part of the season. The Bs also have a nasty habit of slumping a bit after coming off huge wins...
There is one thing we know for certian though...at some point this game, Sean Avery with be a little bitch

...of course, that's if he suits up. He's sat out four of NY's last five games. Good times.
After the jump, a quick preview...
Early game today, so this preview will probably be a little shorter than what you've come to expect from us. The Bruins have played the Rangers twice so far and have split the games 1-1. Oddly enough, both those games have ended 3-2. On paper this looks to be a pretty even match up, with a momentum advantage going to the Bruins. The Rangers recently had their 5 game winning streak snapped by the god awful Senators, so they could be looking for a little retribution this game.

Projected Roster:
Rich Peverley-Patrice Bergeron-Mark Recchi
Tyler Seguin-Chris Kelly-Michael Ryder
Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton
Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Tomas Kaberle-Adam McQuaid
Dennis Seidenberg-Steven Kampfer
Tim Thomas
Tuukka Rask

- Whether or not you believe Recchi's claim that he was taking the heat off Chara, there is no doubt that the Bruins are united.
- Frist Jonathan Quick may be a telepath, now Thomas may be psychic.
