The NHLPA sent 3 proposals to the NHL today that were each different variations on the NHL's original proposal yesterday. Discussions lasted somewhere around an hour or so before Gary Bettman met with the media and had this to say: 

"We were done in an hour because there is really nothing there." - said Bettman

I'm not sure what the details of the NHLPA's proposal is, but at this point things are looking bleaker and bleaker. The NHL gave the PA 9 days to come up with something that's worthy (in their eyes). Now I guess it's the NHL's turn to fire something back.
